In 1 1/2-2 years we will both be retired. We are planning to move to Europe. We have very close friends and some family there, so we have done some looking into what it takes to do this. We have also talked with our financial planner who says we can do it financially. I have checked a few websites to look for information. But now the clock is really ticking, the time is getting close, our house goes on the market next spring, so it is time to get serious and take an in-depth look at this project.
#1 - Learn the Language - We purchased Rosetta Stone and have begun using it.
#2 - Find out what it takes to stay there - Visas, Permits, etc.
#3 - Find out everything involved in shipping horses and cat over there.
Plus a million other things to do.........
I'm on it. This is my mission from now until we arrive over there. The Big Move.
